I have worked in private practice since 2012, in multiple substance abuse treatment settings, and with women of all ages, severely mentally ill patients, college students, pregnant and postpartum mothers, couples, teens, and working professionals.

How I work:
I specialize in evidence-based brief therapies designed to empower my clients, including cognitive and behavioral therapy, and I utilize these within a client-focused orientation. I consider myself to be holistic in my approach, in that I consider each client's physical health, family and social interactions, professional life, and environmental influences in addition to psychological factors.  I enjoy building relationships of trust, wherein we can work to achieve your goals and ensure that you learn skills for the future.  I integrate client-centered therapies with conscious mindfulness and emotion regulation techniques to promote solution-focused well-being and skills for coping with life challenges. I also teach self-hypnosis as a form of mindfulness and visualization, but I no longer perform hypnotherapy directly.

I am able to provide assessment, referral, and long-term counseling services for substance abuse, depending on severity.

Counseling:  Individual, Couples & Group (Ages 14+)
